We are looking for 2�Steel Fixers for an 8 week assignment to help build a number of small-medium structures on a site near Cheltenham. Project starts Monday 24th�June & you will need to commit for the entire time.

If all goes well here, there will be other sites to go onto.
Pay Rate:��220 - �240 a day�

Hours:�7.00am�- 5.00pm

Location:�Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

Duration:�8 weeks

Job Role:

• Interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the required layout and dimensions of rebar.


• Cut and shape steel using tools such as pliers, wire cutters, and rebar benders.


• Place steel in the correct position and secure it using wire or plastic ties.


• Weld or bolt rebar pieces together as required.


• Assist shuttering carpenters with form work or pouring concrete depending on the site size and staffing


• Ensure that all rebar is installed to the required standards and specifications.


• Collaborate with the construction team to ensure that the project is completed on time and to the required quality standards.


• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Steel Fixer


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.


• Must possess CSCS card


• Strong knowledge of rebar installation techniques and procedures.


• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


• Physically fit and able to work in a construction environment.
