Our client, one of the most advanced precast specialists in Europe, is currently recruiting for several Steel Fixers to join their busy manufacturing plant.
The role
Working within a fast-paced environment installing and tying together steel bars and cages to strengthen concrete during construction. The ideal candidate will have experience working with precast concrete.
Main responsibilities
Reading construction based drawing.
Use hand and power tools to bend steel bars.
Fixing the wooden formwork and shuttering used to hold setting concrete in place
Fixing steel to concrete bases
Installing beams
Additional requirements
Good standard of English (to GCSE or equivalent)
To ensure that all duties are carried out in line with all Company policies and procedures and requirements.
Physically Fit and able
To ensure you conduct your personal behaviour so that the Companys reputation is protected and enhanced.
