Stock Controller - Engineering (FTC)

Stock Controller 

Freshways is the largest privately owned dairy and morning goods processor and distributor, with sites spread across the UK and a client portfolio spread across independent retail, wholesale and food service distribution.

Due to an opening, we are looking for a Stock Controller to support the Engineering Team at our Manufacturing site in Acton on a 6 month FTC, with the potential to extend.

• Accepting deliveries into the engineering department and booking in stock. 


• Monitoring of stock levels using the CMMS system, ensuring that stock levels are replenished in a timely manner. 


• Responsible for GMP, health and safety, and general standards within Engineering Stores. 


• Ability to react to the requirements of unexpected events such as equipment breakdowns to source stock under a time critical constraints 


• Communicate directly with the engineers to understand the requirements of the departments. 


• Recording of the spending of the department and producing reports detailing spend vs budget. 


• Auditing of stores to ensure that stock is correctly booked out and recorded. 


• Plan, design, and implement upgrades to the current stock control methods with the aim to improve the performance of the department. 


• Perform other duties and responsibilities as determined by your Manager, and/or the Company

Stock Controller  - Shift patterns : Monday to Friday 8am – 15pm
