p Location: Hybrid/Office and venues /p p Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 /p p br br Below covers everything you need to know about what this opportunity entails, as well as what is expected from applicants. br /p p We are looking for someone with a proven track record implementing stock systems/processes, ordering and reconciliation. /p p br /p p This role will suit someone from a Bars, Restaurant or Venue GM/Stock background that are looking to move their career over to a more 9 to 5. /p p br /p p Your attention to detail has to be second to none, a wizard on excel, top communication skills and be able to prioritise your workload well as you will be covering multiple venues across the UK and into Europe. /p p br /p p The role is broken down below, if it looks like you would be the correct fit, send over your CV and a cover email telling us what you would bring to the role? /p p br /p p strong Who are we? /strong /p p Peppermint provides high-performance bar and event solutions to the world’s best entertainment businesses and consumer brands. Our core business is operating festival & event bars, brand activation and conjoined retail-led F&B solutions to the UK’s best festivals and outdoor events. /p p Our recent partnership with Levy UK&I (Compass Group) has led our established business into new sectors within sports and stadium arena across the UK, Ireland and now Europe. This is where this role comes into it as you will be looking after such world class venues as; /p p /p ul li strong Riverside East /strong , Stratford, London /li li strong Between the Bridges /strong , Southbank, London /li li strong Escape to Freight Island /strong , Manchester /li li strong The O2 /strong & strong Wembley Arena’s /strong , London /li li strong Johan Cruyff Arena /strong , Amsterdam /li li strong Piece Hall /strong , Halifax /li li strong Dreamland /strong , Margate /li li strong Elvis Evolution, The Gunpowder Plot /strong & strong War of the Worlds /strong , Layered Reality, London /li li The role will also support some of our smaller festivals and events as appropriate. /li /ul p /p p As the business continues to grow you will play a pivotal role in the process of securing new ventures and launching those won. /p p br /p p strong MENU RANGING /strong /p ul li Working with the relevant General Managers and their teams to ensure each location has the most compatible range of products to achieve the desired margin targets and variety required. /li li Working with brands and suppliers to ensure target GPs and suitable retails are achieved. /li li Ensuring all brand relationships are managed and menus reflect their individual deals. /li li Assisting venues to roll out new menus or implement changes smoothly. /li li Working closely with the Senior Stock Controller responsible for the festivals side of the business to ensure, as a company, we are maximising avenues for our warehouse stock. /li li Working with our Tech and Innovation team to research and implement new and exciting technologies in drinks dispense and operations. /li /ul p /p p /p p strong PROCUREMENT /strong /p ul li Pro-actively managing each venue's process and system for stock ordering, stock taking and maintaining at appropriate PAR levels across the entire business. /li li Assisting the Head of Stock to buy better for each venue utilising our increasing network of wholesalers, RTMs and our own warehouse stocks. /li li Monitor all brand deals to ensure they are followed and terms are met - both in regards to venue and brand commitments. /li li Working across all venues, and the wider business, to ensure SOR percentages are met with accurate ordering at each location while balancing across the entire business. /li li Develop supplier relationships and ensure our standard terms and conditions are followed or improved. /li /ul p /p p /p p strong REPORTING /strong /p ul li Complete regular onsite audits of each venue’s operations, holding, process and stock GP’s. /li li Use your expert analytical skills to provide regular financial reporting along with specific actionable feedback and action plans. /li li Constantly reviewing revenue and volume targets to ensure accuracy and updating as necessary so each venue is working to the best figures possible. /li li Overseeing each venue's COGS and working with the relevant Finance Partner to pay suppliers speedily and have the most accurate info for GP reporting. /li li Constantly review key commercials and strive for improvement /li li Working with all departments and suppliers to track our carbon emissions with a view to Net Zero by 2027. /li /ul p /p p /p p strong OTHER /strong /p ul li Regular on-site support to engage and support the teams while seeing things first hand. Both during open and closed periods. /li li Occasional extended trips away, including overseas, for in-depth review and venue launches. /li li Work with the Staffing team to ensure the correct team levels and HR process followed. /li li Supporting each venue with onsite team training and development. /li li Working with the Head of Concessions to ensure food & beverage offerings meet business, client and customer needs. /li li Supporting the New Business team to tender for new opportunities. /li li Assisting the Festivals Stock Controller during periods of quiet. /li li Other tasks or duties as they arise and your role develops with the business. /li /ul p br /p p Knowledge & Skills /p p strong ESSENTIAL: /strong /p ul li Venue, festival or club management. /li li Stock system, process and analysis experience. /li li High level Excel and other relevant systems for stock management and reporting. /li li Pivot Tables and Lookups are essential. /li li A solid understanding of UK alcohol beverage brands and SKU types. /li li Considerably strong numerical skills with experience reviewing large data sets. /li li A stringently high attention to detail and accuracy. /li li Above average glossary of event industry terms. /li li Knowledge of industry standard stock margins. /li li UK Right to Work with in date passport for travel abroad. /li li Full UK Driving Licence. /li /ul p /p p strong PREFERRED: /strong /p ul li Warehouse experience. /li li Venue build and launch experience. /li li Project Management. /li li Multi-site management experience. /li /ul p br /p p Travel and Other requirements: /p ul li Hybrid/flexible working is possible. At least one day a week is required at our Head Office (Kennington, London) during the summer months (unless on multiple venue visits). /li /ul p /p ul li The role requires regular visits across the various locations within the roles remit. This will include overseas occasionally. /li li During new venue launch onsite support is crucial. /li /ul p /p ul li Travel, accommodation and expenses are available as part of the role. The day a week in London will not be however. /li /ul
