These three things are still part of our DNA – we’re still a local bike shop, but now with nationwide stores and a huge online store that operates on a global scale.Job DescriptionThe OpportunityAs aFraser’s groupemployee, you will be part of one of the UKs fastest growing retailers. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will have a supportive responsibility for your store and team within TheFrasers Group.You will achieve this by assisting by training, coaching and progressing team engagement on how to surpass the company objectives. You will support business initiatives and ensure these are met with positivity and pace, whilst assisting with the control and delivery across the board for store operations, customer service, budget control, people and product. Furthermore, you will take ownership of key areas to share responsibility and be accountable for the store.Operations:Assist with all store operations and deliver to expectation on all KPI’sSupport with the planning of workload to ensure a productive and efficient teamMake confident decisions, and delegate to the team effectivelySupport with compliance of process and procedures whilst maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both the team and customersAssist with training and coaching the team to best practiceUse business communication tools to monitor completion of tasks and meet deadlinesControls:Use reports to ensure wage controls are met on a weekly basis, assisting with resolving any issues quickly and effectivelySupport with planning store schedules in line with store trading patterns and business expectationAssist with compliance for processing of payroll issues and problem-solve effectivelySupport with store daily structure to ensure store meets compliance, customer service and security standardsBe accountable for controlling wagesSalesUnderstand business and customer expectation and motivate the team to deliver an excellent customer experienceUnderstand product features and benefits and assist with training the team to maximise sales opportunityUnderstand assigned KPI targets and support with tracking against these targets as well as communicating to and motivating the team.Understand the retail industry, business challenges, competitors and customers, with a strong commercial awarenessUse reports to analyse and support with commerciality of key products to impact sales and profitabilityInterpret merchandising guidelines to the sales floor with strong commerciality and efficiencyDevelopmentAssist with identifying internal talent and support performance management processes to drive exceptional performanceSupport with identifying performance issuesBe self-driven in own personal development take on developmental feedback constructivelyUnderstand and promote Frasers Group core values and coach the team to engage with these valuesEncourage feedback from team and be a point of contact between the team and Assistant ManagerLeadership and ManagementInspire the team and act as a role modelSupport with coaching and motivating the team to achieve successTake responsibility of key areas to assist and be accountable for any outcomesDevelop relationships with the store team and ensure everyone is working to the same goalsWork with your Assistant Managerand contribute to the success of the store as a wholeTechnical SkillsCytech Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) or completion of the Evans Cycles qualificationUnderstand and comply with all health and safety proceduresUnderstand how to check, assemble and correctly build bikes, undertake repairs and all levels of serviceManage the booking process for services and repairsConsistently meet agreed build and servicing targetsComplete safety checks and fit accessoriesUse tools and machinery safely and keep work areas safe and organisedAdvise and recommend products and services to suit customer need and budgetUse skills and knowledge to drive workshop KPI’sQualificationsThe RequirementsSupervisory or Management experience working in a fast paced, high volume retail environmentAbility to positively impact results in sales, payroll and stock lossProven record of developing talented individualsMust be able to work well under pressure and to strict deadlinesCommitted to supporting the store manager to achieve the highest store standards and customer service experienceAdditional InformationWe've got a lot to offer..What's in it for you?
