No two days are the same in our retail stores and as a Store Manager you will be open to change, adapting, and ensure that the team are on board and motivated to constantly move forwards with the everchanging environment that adapts to meet our customers’ needs and demands.


Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, a natural seller, you will be there to support and engage the team to drive a selling culture that is professional and ensures that the customer journey is delivering a fantastic customer experience for our products and services, helping the team to focus on achieving amazing results and building your store’s reputation for excellence.


We expect nothing but the best to be delivered in terms of service and meeting demand, whilst delivering a store that is not just great for our customers in terms of commercial excellence, but safe and compliant.


As a Store Manager at Halfords, you will spend the majority of your time on the sales floor with your finger on the pulse of everyday store life. Thriving on teamwork you will inspire others to want to continuously improve and perform better.


You will need:


 


To be an experienced Store Manager, with great organisational skills and the ability to build relationships based on trust ideally in a retail environment.



  • Store manager experience ideally in a retail-based environment.

  • Experience of working in a service focussed business.

  • Experience of a management role in a retail environment.

  • Experience of delivering sales and services targets and managing and influencing KPI’s.

  • Experience of recruiting, developing and leading others

  • Experience in Microsoft packages.

  • Experience of managing a team deployment plan, ensuring you have the right people in the right place.

  • A focus on compliance across Health and Safety, GDPR, QC and all Retail legislation.
