Questech are recruiting on behalf of our client in Huddersfield for a Stores Coordinator.



This will be a 3 month fixed term contract to provide support to the store’s assistant in ordering parts and equipment for the site production departments.



This includes, but is not limited to creating purchase orders, checking stock, speaking to suppliers, booking in stock and dealing with invoice queries.





Duties will Include:




  • Creating purchase orders for stock items, parts and equipment.

  • Checking stock levels regularly and keeping the levels above the minimum requirements.

  • Updating stock information on the computer system.

  • Comparing items received against items ordered.

  • Implementing or improving processes and procedures.

  • Compiling daily reports and addressing inventory discrepancies.

  • Maintaining records of pricing, purchases and other relevant information.

  • Performing random checks and audits.

  • Checking stock availability and prices with suppliers.

  • Expedite outstanding orders.

  • Ensure that quality control standards are met.

  • Complete relevant documentation as required.

  • Ensuring work area is kept well organised, clean and tidy.

  • Quality checking own work

  • Be able to work with minimum supervision when required, using own initiative.

  • To be flexible and assist other Departments / Supervisors when required.

  • Other duties as assigned.





Must be available to start Immediately 



This role is a 3 month fixed term contract





This role is working - Monday to Friday - Standard Days 



The Salary is between £22,000pa - £25,000pa (Dependant on Experience)
