Our client, an established national manufacturing company, has a requirement for a motivated, proactive, and hands-on Stores & Warehouse Team Leader to join their team on a permanent basis.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, duties to include:
� Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities
� Inspect the levels of business supplies and materials to identify shortages
� Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
� Initiate and coordinate optimal operational policies and procedures
� Adhere to all company handling and shipping legislation requirements
� Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
� Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
� Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
� Help to recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
� Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met.
� Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed
� Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow
� Assist with shipping, receiving, and order fulfilment as necessary
Ideally applicants will have previous manufacturing stores/warehouse experience together with a meticulous work ethic, excellent communication & management skills together with a good level of physical fitness are essential together with honesty and integrity. A FLT License would be beneficial but not essential as full training can be given.
