Job Title: Stores Coordinator

Contract Details:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • 6 months contract

Are you an experienced Stores Coordinator with a knack for driving forklift trucks ? Do you have a counterbalance licence? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our client's team!

As a Stores Coordinator, you will be responsible for accepting incoming goods and Goods-in procedures . Your attention to detail will be crucial in checking for any visible damage and properly documenting it.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the correct use of transport equipment, including hand-guided industrial trucks and forklifts. You will be responsible for organising the acceptance, storage, commissioning, and removal of goods in the storage area, as well as conducting regular stock maintenance and inventory.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Forklift truck driving experience, (counterbalance) .
  • Previous Stores Operative or material control experience .

Responsibilities:

  • Ordering materials to maintain correct levels in store
  • Accept incoming goods and compare them with shipping documents.
  • Check incoming goods for visible damage and document as required.
  • Ensure correct use of transport equipment.
  • Capture relevant data in IT systems.
  • Organise the acceptance, storage, commissioning, and removal of goods.
  • Conduct regular stock maintenance and inventory checks.
  • Assemble deliveries and review for completeness and accuracy.
  • Management of calibrated tools, control and secure inventory including safety equipment and tooling
  • Complete packaging of deliveries according to shipping instructions.
  • Add corresponding shipping documents to outgoing goods.
  • Complete transports inside and outside the premises using appropriate means of transportation.
