We are now recruiting for a Stores Operative to assume responsibility for a variety of daily tasks from incoming receipt and inspection to dispatching items to our customers.
You will be working closely to our defined internal processes and standards of quality, whilst ensuring that our systems are updated accurately at each stage.
In addition to this, as our Stores Operative you will work as part of a team responsible for:
Incoming receipt and inspection
Storage of parts in a safe manner
Kitting of works orders
Issuing of shortages to work orders
Issuing stores requests
Dispatching items from MRP from sales
Creating Excel shipment paperwork
Completing shipping material requests to other plants
Sending relevant emails on shipments
Receiving RMA and Demo machines
Ensuring the stores area is kept clean, tidy and safe at all times
Updating the MRP system daily with the correct BIN locations
Ensuring a high level of stock accuracy on the MRP
Arranging courier collections as required
In order to be successful within this Warehouse Controller role it is essential that you have:
A knowledge of stores or warehouse functions would be a distinct advantage but this is not essential.
Positive and proactive attitude.
A willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
Good communication skills, comfortable working with colleagues across all departments.
Strong attention to detail and a desire to ensure accuracy at all stages of the process.
