Join Our Client as a Stores Operative in Castle Donington!

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stores Operative to join their team at our Castle Donington site. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our inventory team, ensuring the seamless flow of materials to our production lines. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help keep our production schedules on track.
Role Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and deliver materials from our main stores to production lines, supporting production schedules.


• Accurately record material movements within our control system and address any discrepancies, damages, or additional material needs.


• Collaborate with production operatives and team leaders to adjust material support based on schedule changes.


• Prioritize Health, Safety, and Environmental practices to maintain a safe and clean working environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a valid Forklift/Counterbalance Licence.


• Experienced in stock control and goods management within manufacturing, construction, or a related industry.


• Proficient in accurate data entry and IT stock systems; SAP experience is a plus.


• Capable of following procedures, maintaining quality standards, and demonstrating strong planning and organizational skills.


• Adept at problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making.


• Demonstrates good numeracy and literacy skills.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm and Friday; 7:30 am to 12:30 pm

Pay Rate

• Starting at �14.85 per hour, increasing to �16.94 after 12 weeks of employment, with additional overtime opportunities available at premium rates.
