Job Title: Strategic Procurement Manager

Salary: Circa �70,000

Location: Peterborough

Type: Permanent, hybrid working

Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to identify, evaluate, and negotiate with key suppliers.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to drive cost optimisation and improve supplier performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and long-term partnerships.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Operations, Finance, Legal) to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and contractual obligations.
• Monitor market trends and innovations to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Analyse procurement data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or strategic sourcing (5+ years preferred).
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills.
• Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions to drive cost efficiencies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency with procurement systems and tools
