Street Cleaner

Simple Recruitment are looking for a Seasonal Cleansing Operative for our client based in the Bideford area to join their team on a temporary seasonal basis.

Salary:

£11.79 per hour

What you will be doing:

• Driving across the local area completing cleansing duties.


• Emptying litter bins/dog bins, street litter picking, graffiti removal


• Cleansing of Devon streets in various areas including public toilets


• Providing a cleansing service to the public.


• Other cleansing duties where necessary


• Following instructions and adhering to health and safety requirements

What do you need to have:

You will need a full driving licence as you will be assigned a company van to carry out your duties.

In order to deliver services effectively, a degree of flexibility is needed, the post holder may be required to perform work not specifically referred to above. Such duties, however, should not normally exceed those expected of an employee at that grade.

The role does not require previous experience as full training & H&S Induction will be provided; however, the right candidate will be physically fit as lifting and bending is an essential part of the role.

Hours:

10.00am – 6.00pm Wednesday to Sunday
