Role: Streetlighting Electrician
Location: Liverpool, UK
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum depending on experience
My client is a reputable streetlighting contractor operating across the North-West and are currently seeking a Streetlighting Electrician to join the team responsible for the maintenance and installation of streetlighting infrastructure in Liverpool.
Key Responsibilities
·Install, maintain, and repair streetlighting systems, including wiring, fixtures, and related electrical components.
·Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure streetlighting systems function correctly and safely.
·Diagnose electrical faults in streetlighting and execute repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
·Perform routine electrical testing, as well as scheduled and emergency maintenance work.
·Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including the proper use of PPE and safe working practices.
·Collaborate with the wider team and communicate effectively with supervisors and other stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
·Previous experience as an electrician in streetlighting or a related highways field.
·Electrical qualifications relevant to streetlighting, such as City & Guilds or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
·NRSWA (Street Works) accreditation preferred but not essential.
·Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, particularly within the highways sector.
·Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·Valid UK driving license.
