Structural Designer

We are looking for an experienced Structural Packaging Designer with expertise in CAD software and a strong background in folding boxboard packaging. This role is focused on structural packaging design, not graphic design.

About the Role:

The Structural Packaging Designer will be responsible for developing and designing innovative packaging solutions using CAD software. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in structural packaging design and be able to create functional, cost-effective packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  Develop and design structural packaging solutions using CAD software such as ArtiosCAD or AutoCAD

  
  


• 
  

  Create and modify dielines, prototypes, and technical drawings for folding boxboard packaging

  
  


• 
  

  Work closely with the production and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and efficient

  
  


• 
  

  Solve structural challenges and optimize packaging for cost, sustainability, and functionality

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications

  
  

Key Requirements:

• 
  

  Proven experience as a Structural Designer in packaging, ideally with folding boxboard

  
  


• 
  

  Strong proficiency in CAD software for structural packaging design

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of packaging materials, production processes, and industry standards

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and clients to develop innovative solutions

  
  


• 
  

  Must live locally to the factory for an easy commute
