We are looking for an experience Structural Engineer, ideally with Tekla experience, to join our Barnsley client.

3 days in office, 2 days work from home

We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join our client, a leading consultancy in Civil and Structural engineering.

The Company

Civil & Structural Engineering consultancy specialising in contracts with Network Rail and Environment Agency who have over 30 years of award winning experience in design and construction.

What will the Structural Engineer be doing?

• With responsibilities across multiple projects and for the management of our ISO 9001 quality management system.
• Undertake structural analysis (FEM) and produce calculation reports across a wide range of different projects.
• Liaising with technicians and checking drawings are in line with designs.
• Working on various projects across major civil engineering sectors including Network rail and the Environment Agency and the Power sector!
• Client-facing, attending design team meetings and site visits.
• Meeting project deadlines and budgets
• Upholding strict quality standard of work
• Abiding by ISO 9001 and 19650 requirements
• Communicating effectively with clients, supply chains, stakeholders and colleagues

What we need from the Structural Engineer?

• 2 years experience in structural engineering
• Analytical software experience (ideally Tekla or REM6)
