We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join a team of Engineers and Designers in a vibrant and busy civil and structural consultancy based in Altrincham. Our client has a great reputation and is involved in some interesting and varied buildings projects.

As Structural Engineer you will work on a variety of projects across residential, commercial, high-rise, leisure, education, industrial sectors amongst others.

Base salary c35k-45k Depending on Experience

6% pension

About you and the role

• Structural design to all relevant standards and European Codes


• Producing preliminary design solutions


• Producing detailed designs, calculations and specifications


• Design in all forms of construction including steelwork, reinforced / precast concrete, masonry and timber, under the supervision of a Senior Structural engineer


• You will have 2 to 3yrs+ structures and buildings design experience (refurbs/extensions/new builds)  


• You will ideally be on a chartered plan or looking to gain chartership


• Be proficient in design software such as TSD, Tedds, Etabs etc.
