Structural Engineer

Our client, a well known Engineering Consultancy, are looking for a Structural�Engineer to join their growing team based in Birmingham.�
As Structural Engineer you will be responsible for:
Leading the project team to ensure production of deliverables to agreed timelines.
Attending meetings with architects and contractors to establish needs.
Leading structural design for major projects.�
Leading the production of calculations, drawings and reports.
Providing technical guidance to project team.�
Supervising and mentor junior staff.�
Site Inspections & coordination.

Essential Skills & Knowledge

• A recognised degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 to 6+ years structural design experience in the UK Construction Market
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Understanding of engineering principles and materials including concrete & steel�
• Experience of undertaking steel and concrete design to Eurocodes, UK Building Regulations, Codes of Practice and Technical Standards.
• Proficiency in Structural Engineering design software such as Tekla, AutoCAD, Revit
• Good planning, organisation, interpersonal and communication skills.
• A 'can do' attitude with commitment to excellent customer service.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards.
• Up to date with continuous developments in Structural Engineering.
