Theyareagrowingstructuralengineeringconsultancy,providingprofessionalbuildingdesignservicesacrossawiderangeofsectors,includingresidential,industrial,educational,rail,andwaterindustries.BasedinLancashire,theirtight-knitteamisexpandingduetoanincreaseinworkload,andislookingforskilledengineerstojointhem.
RoleOverview:
TheyareseekingaStructuralEngineertosupportthedesignofstructuralsteelwork,timber,andreinforcedconcretestructuresacrossvariousdomestic,commercial,andindustrialprojects.Thesuccessfulcandidatewillworkundertheguidanceofseniorengineers,conductingsitevisits,completingtechnicaldrawings,andcontributingtothedesignandassessmentofstructures.
KeyResponsibilities:
Conductingsitevisitstosurveystructuralproposalsandmeasuresitedimensions.
Structuraldesignofsteelwork,timber,andreinforcedconcreteforresidential,commercial,andindustrialprojects.
StructuraldetailingusingAutoCAD.
ReviewingCADtechniciandrawings.
Respondingtotechnicalqueriesandprovidingguidancewherenecessary.
ProficiencyinTEKLAdesignsoftware,includingTEDDS,StructuralDesigner,andConnectionDesigner(trainingprovided).
Carryingoutstructuralsurveysandassessments,producingtechnicalreports(trainingavailableifneeded).
Requirements:
DegreeinCivil/StructuralEngineering.
ProficientinAutoCAD,TeklaTEDDs,andTeklaStructuralDesigner.
FullUKdrivinglicenseandwillingnesstoattendvarioussitesoncetrained.
Abilitytoworkindependentlyandaspartofasmall,dynamicteam.
Salary&Benefits:
Permanent,full-timeposition(37.5hoursperweek).
Competitivesalarybetween£37,500and£42,500perannum(dependingonexperience).
28daysofannualholiday(includingbankholidays).
