Substance Misuse Nurse

A well regarded charity is looking for a Substance Misuse Nurse to join their specialist addictions clinic based in West London area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a passion for Substance Misuse treatment.
Working in a clinic as a Substance Misuse Nurse, this role focuses on undertaking physical and mental health assessments, providing expert advice and sign posting service users to primary and secondary health care services.
Requirements for a Substance Misuse Nurse include:

• Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN
• Relevant experience working with drug and alcohol treatments
• Sound knowledge of harm reduction�and health promotion interventions
• Experience supporting service users with mental health conditions

It is not essential that you have experience working within addiction treatments, but you must be able to demonstrate your interest in this field of nursing and show how you have worked to gain experience, transferable skills and how you have come to be interested in Drug and Alcohol Recovery Services.
