As a Substance Misuse Nurse, your duties will include:
Overseeing medicated detox procedures
Handling admissions and discharges
Developing, implementing, and monitoring care plans
Collaborating with the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT)
Assisting in the development, introduction, and application of research-based findings to nursing practice

The ideal Substance Misuse Nurse will have:
Current NMC registration
Experience in substance misuse
Experience in delivering group-based therapies
The ability to work as part of a team
Knowledge of current issues in substance misuse
The ability to manage a caseload independently
Knowledge of confidentiality and data protection issues
