Substations Project Manager

Our client is a global consultancy and professional services business, supporting clients across a range of sectors, including the energy infrastructure sector. HV Substation Project ManagersDue to continued growth and securing new projects, they are now in need of a number of HV Project Managers to join their teams in Birmingham and Manchester, working on substation projects for power transmission and distribution, helping the UK transition towards Net Zero.The HV Project Managers will work across a range of multi-disciplinary substation projects including:Managing HV substation transmission projects and packages.Developing and fostering client relationships through successful project delivery.Mentoring, supervising and coordinating less experienced project managers.Establishing project scope, time and cost.To be considered for this role, you will need to be qualified to degree level or above in Electrical Engineering and will have significant previous experience in Project Management of HV substation projects for power transmission or distribution at high voltage levels, such as 400kV.Your experience will include the technical delivery of multi-disciplinary substation projects, working in the utilities or consulting environments, covering e.g. EHV or HV electrical engineering from conceptual to detailed design in the power transmission or distribution industries.HV Substation Project ManagersHybrid work arrangementBirmingham or Manchester£negotiable salary and benefits DOEKey Skills: Project Manager, Electrical Engineer, Electrical Engineering, HV, EHV, Substations, Primary Plant, Primary Equipment, Wind, Renewable, 132kV, 220kV, 400kV, kV, Switchgear, Transformers, Power Transmission, Power Distribution, FEED.
