Our client is a dynamic and engaging summer camp provider dedicated to providing children with unforgettable experiences through sports, teamwork, and personal growth. We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate Sports Coaches to join our clients team and help campers develop their athletic skills while fostering a fun and positive environment.

Job Summary:

The Summer Camp Sports Coach will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading various sports activities for campers. This role involves creating a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable atmosphere where campers can learn new skills, improve their abilities, and build confidence in their athletic endeavours.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead daily sports for children aged 5-12, accommodating all abilities and skill levels.


• Develop creative and engaging activity plans that promote physical activity, teamwork, and skill development.


• Adapt activities to meet the diverse needs and interests of participants, ensuring everyone feels included and valued.


• Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere where kids can learn, grow, and have fun.


• Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times, following camp policies and procedures.


• Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and fellow staff members.


• Collaborate with the camp team to organise special events, trips, and themed days.

Requirements:

• Passion for working with children and helping them discover the joy of sports.


• Previous experience coaching or teaching children in sports or related activities.


• Strong organisational skills and the ability to create engaging activity plans.


• Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.


• Full enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (or willingness to obtain prior to camp start date).


• Valid driving license (preferred)


• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
