Supervisor

Matchtech is currently seeking a dedicated Supervisor to join their Highways team on a contract basis. This role involves supervising the highway drainage system, road upgrades and general civils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising and overseeing highway drainage system maintenance activities
• Managing surface water run off and ensuring proper drainage to green areas
• Coordinating with teams to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
• Conducting regular inspections and assessments of highway drainage systems
• Reporting on system conditions and maintenance activities to higher management
• Implementing and monitoring risk management strategies
• Ensuring all work is completed to the required quality and safety standards
• Managing resources and schedules effectively to meet project deadlines

Job Requirements:

• Experience in supervising highway projects
• Understanding of surface water run off and green area drainage
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Relevant qualification in a related field
