Supplier Quality Engineer

We are seeking an industrious Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Engineering & Manufacturing department. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to quality control while overseeing suppliers and ensuring products meet the company's stringent standards.

Description

• Manage supplier performance and conduct audits
• Develop and implement supplier quality evaluation and control systems
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met
• Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly
• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve supplier quality issues
• Conduct training and workshops for suppliers on quality standards and expectations
• Participate in the selection of new suppliers
• Prepare and present performance reports to the management team

Profile

A successful Supplier Quality Engineer should have:

• Degree in Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in a similar role within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and supplier quality systems
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
