They are currently looking for a dedicated Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team in Marston Green. Job Overview:
As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a key role in overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain process. This includes liaising with suppliers, coordinating inventory, managing shipments, and ensuring smooth delivery of products to meet customer demand. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of supply chain operations within the manufacturing or metal sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the procurement of materials and ensure timely delivery to meet production schedules.
Maintain accurate inventory levels and track stock movement.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials.
Monitor and report on supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Collaborate with internal teams including production, logistics, and sales to ensure seamless operations.
Resolve any supply chain issues or disruptions, working with stakeholders to find effective solutions.
Assist in forecasting demand and managing inventory turnover.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
Prepare and maintain reports, including inventory levels, order statuses, and supply chain performance metrics.
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience in a supply chain, logistics, or procurement role (preferably within the metal sector or manufacturing environment).
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and any supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle supply chain disruptions effectively.
Knowledge of inventory management and procurement practices.
A proactive, self-motivated individual with a keen eye for detail.
