Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager to join our industry leading Broxburn-based client on a fixed-term basis!

What's on offer: A full-time position with a wide range of benefits, including a competitive salary of £50,000 per annum.

As a Supply Chain Manager, your duties will include, but not limited to:

• Managing purchase orders effectively
• Monitoring of timeframes and issues within the supply chain
• Effectively negotiating contracts
• Staying informed of and acting on overall trends in prices, capacity and sustainability
• Working with and developing members of the Supply Chain team

To be successful in this Supply Chain Manager role, you will have previous experience in a supply chain/logistics position; plus, the following key skills and traits:

• Strong planning and contract management experience
• Effective leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent negotiation and customer service approach
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
