Are you a Supplier Development Manager with a passion for high-tech environments?�We're looking for a�Supplier Development Manager�to join a leading missile and defence company in�Bolton or Stevenage�(hybrid working possible!).

  • Be a key player in shaping the future of our industrial and business landscape.
  • Drive efficiency and effectiveness by optimizing internal practices.
  • Manage supplier performance (delivery & quality) for critical defence programs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to�mitigate risks�and streamline supply chains.
  • Implement lean methodologies and cutting-edge analysis to continuously improve.
You'll be a great fit if you have:
  • A degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
  • Experience in international supply chain management within Aerospace, Defence, or Manufacturing.
  • A proven�track record of improving supplier performance using tools like DMAIC.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve Supplier Performance�(Delivery and Quality)using appropriate tools and lean methodologies
  • The ability to manage a portfolio of suppliers, analyze lead times, and identify bottlenecks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis.
  • A knack for�identifying, prioritizing, and mitigating supply chain risks.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Familiarity with�SC21�Practitioner principles (a plus!).
  • British Citizenship (sole or dual) is required to get SC clearance
