Randstad Education is seeking an enthusiastic and versatile Supply Teacher to support and teach in multiple primary school settings across Sheffield on a regular supply basis from September 2024.

This role is the perfect opportunity if you are an experienced teacher looking to take a step back from full time teaching or if you are an ECT looking to build your experience teaching a variety of primary settings.

As a Supply Teacher, your responsibilities are:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of primary school settings.
• Adapt to different classroom environments and student needs with ease.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity in student learning.
• Assess and provide feedback on student progress as required.
• Collaborate with school staff to support student development and wellbeing.
• Uphold school policies and contribute to the school community.

To be successful in the Supply Teacher role, you must:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to process one through Randstad Education)
• Hold eligibility to work in the UK
• Have a minimum of 6 weeks experience teaching Key Stage 1/ Key Stage 2.
• Have a strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Have excellent behaviour management skills
