Responsibilities:


  1. Step into classrooms with confidence, delivering engaging and effective lessons that meet curriculum objectives and engage students' interest.
  2. Establish a positive and inclusive learning environment, managing student behaviour in line with school policies and fostering a culture of respect and cooperation.
  3. Provide support and guidance to students, addressing their individual learning needs and helping them achieve their academic goals during your time in Southampton.

Qualifications:


  1. A bachelor's degree in related field, along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  2. While not always mandatory, prior teaching experience, either as a classroom teacher or as a supply teacher, is often preferred.
  3. A strong understanding of the subject(s) you will be teaching, along with the ability to adapt to different curriculum requirements.
  4. Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics and behaviour, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
  5. Willingness to adapt to different teaching assignments, year groups, and schools as required.
