About the Role:

Randstad Education is looking for adaptable and enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to support various schools across Worthing. As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will have the flexibility to work on short or long-term bookings, assisting in classrooms, working with small groups, or providing 1:1 support to pupils as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Work with small groups of students to enhance their learning and understanding.
• Provide 1:1 support to pupils with specific learning needs, including SEN.
• Assist in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and work effectively with various teams.
• Help prepare and organise learning materials and classroom resources.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children, preferably within an educational setting.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to working in different schools and with varying age groups.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
• A patient, caring, and supportive attitude towards working with children.
• Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous but not essential.
