We have an opportunity for a Support Team Leader to join us in the community supporting Max.
Due to the needs of the individual we support, we can only accept applications from male candidates. You would need to have a Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.

Your role as a Support Team Leader will be key to the smooth running of the service, ensuring we promote the growth of the people we support. As a senior member of the team, you will work closely with the Registered Manager, demonstrating best practice, and providing day to day support, guidance and direction to your colleagues.

This role would include spending time on shift, directly supporting in the service.

​Max likes to go out for a ride on his bike in the fresh air. He appreciates a treat and has his two takeaways per week. Max gets creative in the kitchen by baking cakes or by relaxing and watching football on the tv. In the summertime, he enjoys being outside enjoying a bbq.

Working hours would be a mixture of 8am - 4pm or 4pm - 10pm. You would be required to work alternate weekends and complete sleep ins.

The role would include:
* Completing medication audits
* Supporting new starters
* Assisting with care plans and updates regarding the service
* Ordering medication when needed
* Being on call (on a Rota basis)
* Managing staff spot checks

What we are looking for:
* Level 3 Social Care (or equivalent)
* Experience with Autism and working with challenging behaviour
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and other professionals
* Administration skills
* Good organisational skills
* Able to work flexible hours including sleep ins and on call shifts.​
* Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
* A full UK drivers license and access to a car
