We are currently recruiting for a support worker for a residential service based in Dolgellau. The home is a 14 bedded service for adults 18+ with learning disabilities.
Your role will be to ensure the residents are able to live as independent a life as possible by assisting with their every day lives when needed.
You will need to be flexible with shifts, shift patterns are:
08:30 - 20:30
20:30 - 08:30
Information:
Location: LL40
Hourly Rate: £14.00 - £18.00 per hour
Contract: Full time/Part time
Start Date: On completion of recruitment process
Your duties as a Support Worker:
Eating out
Visit to local parks
Encourage new skill development
Activities (bowling, cinema, swimming)
Empowering residents to be as independent as possible
Listening to music
Attending appointments
Personal care support
Enabling independence by assisting with day-to-day tasks (this may include - but not be limited to - finances, shopping, cooking, cleaning etc)
