Job Title: Support Worker - No Experience Needed!
Location: Near Royston, Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border
Salary: £12.37 to £13.49 per hour (effective from 1st January 2025, linked to competency and qualifications)
Welcome Bonus: £1500 (terms apply)*
Hours: Flexible full-time and part-time shifts available, including weekend-only options (average 40 hours per week on a 4-week rota pattern)
Training: Comprehensive training provided, with support to complete a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care after probation

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers for a specialist children's home and school near Royston. This service provides education, care, and therapeutic support for young people aged 9-19 with severe and profound communication difficulties related to conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism, brain injuries, and degenerative disorders.
Delivering high standards of care during daily activities such as personal care, socialising, learning, and therapeutic sessions like hydrotherapy and rebound therapy.
Building meaningful relationships to empower children and young adults to thrive and develop.
Maintaining a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment.
Supporting the development of learning and social skills whenever possible.
No prior experience is required-we're looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference. Successful candidates will demonstrate:

Flexibility to work on a rota, including every other weekend.
