- £24,087 - 24,490 per annum, plus an additional £1000 per annum for the driving element of the role and the opportunity for an additional £1500 per annum for undertaking additional responsibilities pro rata.

Full and Part time positions available. Full time is 37.5 hours per week and part time is 18.5 hours per week.
The Role
- Support Children and Young people with all aspects of daily living to maximise their potential and achieve their own goals
- To Safeguard Children and Young people who are supported and ensure they are protected from all forms of abuse and neglect and ensure their environment is safe.
- Follow and contribute to Children and Young people's care plan to ensure Highest standards of care are given
- Prepare, plan and implement therapeutic activities and programmes to encourage children and Young people to manage their behaviour and develop their social, emotional sensory and educational development
- Build and maintain holistic and therapeutic relationships with Children, young people and their families helping to address issues that may affect a child's or young persons, health or social and emotional well being.
- Work as part of a team to provide the best possible care to Children and Young people.
- Document and communicate effectively.
The Ideal Candidate
- Have a Minimum 6 months Care or Support work experience.
- Have worked with Children or Young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
- Confident in supporting people with challenging behaviour and able to utilise de-escalation techniques in heightened situations should it be required.
- Be naturally caring and supportive
- Be willing to assist with all aspects of daily living including personal care and assisting to maintain a clean living environment
- Actually want to work with Children and Young people to make a difference in this really rewarding role.
