Role Overview:

As a Band 3 Health Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting our clinical staff in providing high-quality care to patients. Your responsibilities will encompass both clinical and supportive tasks, contributing to a holistic approach to patient wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the assessment and monitoring of patients' health status, recording vital signs and observations accurately.
• Support patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and meal assistance.
• Help maintain a hygienic and safe environment, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a sense of dignity and respect.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans and respond to patients needs effectively.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on patient care.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Prior experience in healthcare.
• A genuine desire to make a positive impact on patients lives.
