Our client is offering distinctive services in Hertfordshire providing extended family support for three young individuals (aged 11 to 17) with complex needs. These youths require our guidance and assistance to navigate their challenges effectively.
Defining the job title for this role is challenging as you'll wear many hats-mentor, teacher, coach, parental figure, therapist, counsellor, and family liaison in a day's work.
The core of this role is to provide support for a young person, fostering their development into adulthood with routine, boundaries, and consistency, all delivered in a nurturing, non-judgemental manner. On any given day, you might engage in activities like horse riding, painting, driving, shopping, or virtual schooling with your assigned young person. No two days are alike.
You'll be part of a team of eight, working on a shift/rota basis. Flexibility is key, and with teamwork, we ensure everyone's needs are accommodated.
