Job title: Female Support Worker
Location: Newcastle NE6
Pay rate: £13-£14.04 per hour (weekly pay every Friday)
Job type: Full time – 48 hours a week + flexible bank shifts
Shift and schedule: Monday 9.45-11pm (sleep in 11pm-8am) , Tuesday 8am-10am
Saturday 9.45-11pm (sleep in 11pm-8am), Sunday 8am-10am
Priority Healthcare have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker/Care Assistant looking for a new challenge in the Newcastle area.
This is an excellent opportunity to support an individual with a brain injury in her own home, supporting with personal and domestic care.

Client and Role:
•     
The client lives with a brain injury , uses a wheelchair for mobility and is a carrier for hepatis B so uses medication regularly.
•     The client requires 1:1 support for all aspects of personal and domestic care, as well as support within the community and manual handling.
•    Challenging behaviour
Successful Applicant:

•     Must drive and hold a Full UK license
•     Must have experience with brain injuries and awareness of hepatitis B
•     Excellent verbal communication skills
•     Physically fit to move and handle the client
•     Experience working 1:1 with clients
