Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:

As a Support Worker, you’ll be providing vital support to individuals in a care setting:

• Personal Care: Assist with day-to-day tasks such as personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
• Companionship: Offer emotional and social support to individuals, helping them feel valued and included.
• Health & Wellbeing: Support individuals with medical needs, administering medication (if applicable), and ensuring their overall health and safety.
• Positive Support: Help manage challenging behaviours, de-escalating situations with calmness and empathy.
• Encouraging Independence: Promote self-reliance by helping individuals build confidence and independence in their daily activities.
• Activity Support: Assist with activities and routines that promote physical and mental well-being, encouraging a fulfilling lifestyle.

We’re Looking for Caring Individuals Who:

• Have experience (or a passion to gain experience) in supporting individuals with challenging behaviour, SEND, or SEMH needs in a care or school environment.
• Are compassionate, patient, and able to engage with individuals in a positive and meaningful way.
• Are skilled at providing personal care with dignity and respect, while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS (or are ready to obtain one and start right away!).
• Have Moving and Handling training is desired.
