Surfacing Foreman / Supervisor - Airport

Rate:�Outside IR35 / Umbrella CIS (awaiting IR35 Determination)

Location: Cardiff
People Group are looking for either a Foreman or Supervisor with demonstrable surfacing and airport experience to work for a Principle Contractor.
Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision and Coordination:�Direct and manage on-site activities of subcontractors to ensure efficient execution of drainage works.
• Quality Control:�Ensure all drainage works meet required standards and specifications.
• Health & Safety:�Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all site personnel.
• Project Monitoring:�Track progress against the project schedule, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Reporting:�Maintain detailed records and report on daily activities, progress, and any issues encountered.
• Problem Solving:�Address and resolve any on-site issues, coordinating with project management and subcontractors as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:

• Extensive experience as a General Foreman or Supervisor, in sufacing works and airport projects.
• Experience working for a surfacing contractor
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a construction environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Desirable:

• Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management.
• Experience working night shifts and managing projects under tight deadlines
