You will be working for a leading construction company committed to integrating sustainable practices into their projects.


As a Sustainability Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the sustainability efforts and working closely with the Sustainability Manager. You will assist in implementing sustainable strategies and ensuring compliance with environmental standards throughout our construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Sustainability Manager in the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives for construction projects.
  • Assist in conducting sustainability assessments and collecting data on project performance.
  • Help monitor and track sustainability metrics, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate sustainable design principles and materials into construction projects.
  • Research and evaluate innovative sustainable technologies and materials.
  • Assist in the preparation of sustainability reports and presentations.
  • Assist in communicating and promoting sustainable practices to project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about the latest sustainability trends, regulations, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • A strong interest in sustainability and a desire to contribute to sustainable development in the construction industry.
  • A degree in sustainability, environmental science, construction management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Basic knowledge of sustainable construction practices and environmental regulations including BREEAM.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
