A look into the role Henderson Wholesale is a leading Wholesaler in Northern Ireland and supplies goods to over 450 stores across various brands such as SPAR, EUROSPAR and VIVO. We source from local farmers, growers and producers and are proud to contribute to our local economy and environment. The Purpose of the role: This role will support the project management and delivery of new financial systems and process improvements through business transformation across the Finance function. Working as Systems & Change Accountant you will: Assist with the installation of new systems and ongoing improvements. Facilitate process changes and reorientation. Prepare and maintain end-user documentation. Develop and deliver staff training sessions. Liaise with service providers to address system issues. Create business models and conduct cost-benefit analysis. Review and evaluate completed processes. Prepare and present reports on installations and improvements to senior management. Analyse current business processes and recommend improvements. Support projects and the implementation of new processes. Represent the finance department in IT project initiations. Manage finance-related and group-wide projects actively. Lead change initiatives and communicate changes effectively. Apply agile project management principles. Assist divisional accountants as needed. Support the quarter-end and year-end accounts processes. Contribute to annual budgeting efforts. Design and implement user training programs. Serve as a liaison with user departments, system providers, financial controllers, and internal/external auditors. Skills for Success Joining us as Systems & Change Accountant the minimum criteria youll need is: Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Previous experience of finance systems implementation Demonstrable experience of identifying and delivering process improvements Accounts preparation experience Proficient in Microsoft office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Full UK/EU Driving Licence The Attributes youll need include: Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to lead change and communicate to various stakeholders at all levels Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet tight, challenging deadlines Strong attention to detail It is Desirable if you have: Experience of implementing large scale ERP projects Agile Project Management experience Working knowledge using other process improvement tools such as Robotic Process Automation, Power Automate & BI Tools. This is a full-time position working 36.5 hours per week. Working hours will be 8:45am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45am-3:45pm Friday. Hybrid and flexible working arrangement available.
