Job Opportunity - Systems Accountant - Remote

One of my local Government clients are currently on the lookout for a Systems Accountant to join their team on an interim basis.

Systems Accountant

Contract Length: 6 Months+

Location: Home Counties

Pay Rate: DOE

Days: X5 p/w (could possibly consider part time).

Start Date: ASAP

Hybrid working: Remote (Office presence would be beneficial)

The role will include:-

• Supporting on systems administration tasks.
• Troubleshooting, running process that are known to fail and getting them to work.
• Higher level project work which may include reporting (Crystal reports & business object reports)
• The split of workloads in a 4 week month will most likely be X1 weeks worth of systems administration work and then X3 weeks worth of systems accountancy work.

Successful candidates will:

• Have previous systems accounting experience performing the above tasks.
• Have experience working on Civica Financials or are able to pick up new finance systems very quickly as there will be the expectancy to be able to hit the ground running.
• You do not necessarily need to be a fully qualified accountant for this role as the focus is around whether candidates have the relevant experience or not.
• It is preferred that candidates have a local government background but the same again, this is not essential.
