Systems Engineer - Milton Keynes (hybrid work available) - Up to �45,000
We are actively recruiting for a Systems Engineer to join our client, who are a supplier and manufacturer of power protection products including UPS, Chargers, Battery Packs, Generators.� These systems range from standard to complex systems and are supplied to many industries including Defence, Marine, Power, Water.
The role is hybrid, offering 2 days a week home working.��
The successful candidate will need to work with the Project Manager and the Design Manager (System Design Authority), coordinating with customers, suppliers, external bodies as well as a senior management team.
The work will involve:
- Designing new rugged power protection products, both electrical and mechanical, using Inventor/AutoCAD software.
- Supporting the development of design solutions to agreed time, cost and quality in accordance with project or business milestones.
- Supporting the development and management of requirements specific to a system or product and/or across a system of systems, platform or programme.
- Ensure design proving evidence is comprehensive, captured within the requirements management tools and has been endorsed by the appropriate level of authority.
- Work with the engineering team to improve own levels of domain knowledge and subject matter expertise.
Your skills and experiences:
- Degree level qualification within a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)�field or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes and practices.
- Knowledge of the engineering lifecycle with experience of operating in the phase relevant to the role and awareness of the entire engineering lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes and practices
- Experienced in using Inventor/AutoCAD software
The successful candidate will be required to undergo DBS and BPSS checks therefore requiring to be a British Citizen.
