The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Systems Modelling Engineer?

• Develop and maintain models using MATLAB and Simulink with model-based design techniques.
• Contribute to the development of complex models, including target scenarios, hardware representations, and processor algorithms.
• Design, implement, and optimise algorithms within the model.
• Generate and verify auto-code for software algorithms derived from the model.
• Conduct performance assessments and analysis.
• Develop simplified representations of the product model for integration into the missile model.
• Optionally, update and maintain legacy models in Statemate.
• Document model modifications, create test vectors, and ensure compliance with project requirements.

What are we looking for in our next Systems Modelling Engineer?

• Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink.
• Experience in modelling for auto-coding.
• Strong algorithm development capabilities.
• Ability to translate algorithms into functional Simulink models.
• Strong technical report writing skills.
• Experience in delivering models for complex systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Desirable:

• Familiarity with Radar and Control Systems.
• Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing.
• RF engineering experience.
