Talent Acquisition Manager
Food Manufacturing
Greater Manchester / Lancashire
£40,000 - £50,000
Recruiting for a recruiter—it’s a concept that feels a little unconventional. But that’s the beauty of our industry. It offers countless variations of the role, while the core fundamentals remain consistent.
That said, this role is something different.
You’ll work alongside one of the most professional, approachable, and supportive HR Directors in the industry. They’ll provide you with the autonomy to thrive, the freedom to innovate, and the support to grow.
In this role, you won’t just head up the internal recruitment function for a £200m+ food manufacturing group. You’ll also manage social media accounts to enhance the visibility of the business—showcasing its culture, engagement, learning & development initiatives, and the brilliant success stories that deserve a wider audience.
Why This Role Stands Out
Here, you’ll have the autonomy to make a real impact. This isn’t a traditional blue-chip organization where red tape slows progress or forces you to jump through hoops. Instead, you’ll have the freedom to bring forward and implement your own ideas, whether they’re about improving social media strategies, refining recruitment processes, or enhancing systems and compliance.
You’ll also have a strong foundation to build on. Recruitment processes are established, and hiring managers understand the system. They’re receptive to insights and advice, making it easier for you to focus on delivering value and driving improvements.
If you’ve ever felt stuck in a transactional recruitment role, this is your chance to break free and make a meaningful impact across the business.
What You’ll Do
You’ll have a hand in every corner of the organization, including:
What You’ll Need
Experience is important, and you’ll need a background as a Talent Acquisition Business Partner, Talent Acquisition Manager, Recruitment Manager, or in a similar role. Ideally, you’ll have managed internal recruitment in a food manufacturing environment, but any manufacturing experience will be considered.
You’ll recruit for a variety of positions across Operations, Technical, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, NPD, Commercial, HR, IT, H&S, and hourly-paid roles.
The X Factor
The key to success in this role is you—your personality, drive, and creativity. You’ll need to be ambitious, proactive, and eager to suggest and implement improvements. This isn’t a transactional role; you’ll consult, engage, and inspire stakeholders while consistently bringing fresh ideas to the table.
