Tax Assistant

Our client is looking for a Tax Assistant to join their well-established and client-focused accountancy firm. This is a 9-month contract with the potential to transition into a permanent role. The firm prides itself on providing expert financial and tax services, supporting a diverse client base with a commitment to excellence and professional growth.

In this role, you will support the Personal Tax Manager with various personal tax matters. The ideal candidate will have strong personal tax knowledge and a keen interest in expanding their expertise in this area. This is a part-time position (3 days per week, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM) with flexible working options and potential growth opportunities.

Tax Assistant Job Overview

• Assist the Personal Tax Manager with personal tax matters.
• Prepare and review tax returns and related documents.
• Provide client support and handle personal tax inquiries.
• Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations.

Tax Assistant Job Requirements

• Strong personal tax knowledge.
• ATT qualification (or similar) is preferred but not essential.
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• A strong desire to develop expertise in personal tax.

Tax Assistant Salary & Benefits

• Salary: �35,000 - �50,000 (pro-rata), depending on experience.
• Working Hours: 3 days per week (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM) with flexible working options.
• Hybrid working: 1 day per week from home after the probation period.
