Tax Manager Location: City of London Job Type: Full-time Salary: Competitive remuneration package A prestigious management consultancy in the heart of London is seeking a Qualified Tax Manager to enhance their Finance function. The successful candidate will be the in-house expert on all tax-related matters, leading the Tax function and ensuring compliance with UK and international tax legislation. Day-to-day of the role: Lead the Tax function within the organisation, acting as the go-to expert for all tax-related issues. Prepare and submit UK corporation tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current legislation. Oversee the accurate submission of VAT returns, maintaining meticulous records and processes. Provide assistance with US tax matters, liaising with international teams as necessary. Serve as the primary contact for both direct and indirect taxation queries and requirements. Manage transfer pricing documentation and policies. Lead and maintain tax compliance across the organisation, staying abreast of legislative changes and their implications. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven Group Tax experience within a multinational business environment. Recognised Tax qualification (e.g., ATT, CTA, or equivalent). Strong, up-to-date knowledge of current tax legislation, including both direct and indirect taxes. Ideally, some knowledge of US tax systems and requirements. Excellent organisational and leadership skills. Ability to communicate complex tax concepts to stakeholders at all levels. Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package.
