About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate Design & Technology/Construction teacher to join the team at Da Vinci Academy, part of L.E.A.D Academy Trust. As a classroom teacher, you will inspire and motivate students by delivering engaging lessons in a safe and supportive learning environment. You will be part of a dedicated team, contributing to the high standards of education and upholding the values of excellence, equality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for students across all abilities, using innovative teaching methods and resources.
  • Develop strategies that support and encourage students with special educational needs, ensuring an inclusive and respectful environment for all learners.
  • Regularly assess students' work and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement. Monitor and track individual and group progress.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to design and enhance the curriculum, ensuring it is both challenging and relevant to the needs of the students.<#####ata-start="#####" data-end="2262">Establish and maintain high standards of behavior in the classroom, implementing effective strategies to encourage positive engagement and motivation.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students, helping them overcome academic and personal challenges.
