Teacher of Food

Principal Resourcing are working alongside a secondary academy in North East Lincolnshire, who are seeking to recruit as part-time Food Technology Teacher for a role commencing in January 2025. This is a temporary role and will initially run for the spring term. The right candidate may be offered�a permanent position.�

About the role:�

• Teach the Food, Cookery and Nutrition curriculum across the age and ability range


• Develop a stimulating learning environment that promotes the identity of the department and celebrates achievement of students


• Plan, and deliver engaging learning activities that are differentiated to meet the needs of all students, and that stretch and challenge students to achieve their potential

The academy�will also consider applications from individuals who work within the food industry with an understanding of education and young people with SEND.

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent


• Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject


• Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum


• An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us


• Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
